THE CHURCH THAT IS IN THEIR HOUSE

Welcome to an authentic New Testament church (Rom 16:5. 1 Cor 16:19; Col 4:15; Phile 1:2)

Our God is longsuffering, but with the almost continual shedding of innocent blood through government sanctioned abortions, along with the uplifting of the abominations of sodomy, lesbianism, and marriages of adultery everywhere, I believe has pushed Him to the point of removing the hedge from around our country, and it wont get any better. We have taken Him out of our schools, government, and every day lives, now we will realize the blessings and the protection we HAD from Him . . .

Psa 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it: Unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain.

Pro 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

The continuing downward spiral of the economic situation, 9/11, the ever increasing onslaught of killer storms, floods, droughts, wildfires, pestilences and so forth, it wont get any better, only worse, God is over all (Eph 4:6). Be not deceived for whatsoever one sows, that shall they also reap (Gal 6:7), REPENT! And believe in the gospel (Mk 1:15).

I noticed a sign at a church building this past 4th of July it read "God bless America". God doesn't bless nations that partake and approve of the atrocities that have been mentioned but rather He judges them!  REPENT!! Again I say REPENT!!! And believe in the gospel. See the red sun! Smell the smoke! These things are just a precursor of the things to come because those that live like Sodom and Gomorrah will burn like Sodom and Gomorrah (2 Pet 2:6; Jude 1:7) . . .

2Pe 2:6  if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly.

Jud 1:7  just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

Concerning one's personal responsibility in these matters (besides being a direct partaker thereof), did you vote for an individual that approved of and promoted abortion? Did you vote for a person that approved of and promoted sexual crimes in the sight of the God of the Bible? If you did it is as if you killed each and every one of those babies yourself, it is as if you were partaking of these ungodly sexual abominations yourself, as it is written (2 Jn 11) . . .

2 Jn 1:11 For he that bids him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Just as if you hired a hitman to kill your spouse the laws of the land would consider you an accessory to murder, in like manner when you give your vote for an individual knowing full well his intentions you likewise are guilty of any and all crimes you bid him God speed to accomplish in the sight of our all knowing God. You might be able to escape the temporal judgments of this world, but each one of us will have to stand before the Lord and give an account of the things done in the body (Mt 25:31-46; Rom 2:6; 2 Cor 5:10; 1 Pet 1:17; Rev 20:12) in view of the word (Jn 12:48; Rom 2:16; Rev 20:12), not according to what one believes or thinks (Mt 7:21-23), for it appointed for man to die once (Gen 3:19), then after this comes the judgment (Heb 9:27). But there is good news! One can manifest godly sorrow (2 Cor 7:10), repent of sins (Acts 17:30), believe and obey the gospel from the heart unto the forgiveness of sins (Rom 6:16-18) and the life eternal (Tit 1:2), but without that, all the accountable are headed to the lake of fire (Rev 20:15), for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23).

Another issue of our day which is actually tied to these others is the 501c3 tax exempt status, that many if not most religious bodies of our day are partaking of. The blunt truth is for money's sake (greed; covetousness) these religious bodies have entered into a contract with the state (that's right, this constitutes the joining of church and state). In this contract in order to receive tax exempt status said religious body has agreed not to teach or preach anything that may influence voting or issues that are currently under legislation, which in our day includes things such as abortion, forced acceptation of sodomy and lesbianism, same sex marriages, euthanasia for the elderly, and such like. Have you ever wondered why you never hear of these things in the teachings in your building? This is why, so you can have a building and not be taxed for it. Have you heard of these issues and are a 501c3 church? Then you violated the contract you made with the state, in other words you lied! (Rev 21:8; 22:15) For money's sake (1 Tim 6:10)! Render therefore to caesar that which is caesar's, and to God that which is God's (Mt 22:21), pay your taxes on your buildings if you insist on having them and be faithful unto God in preaching the issues of the day. *There is truth and error on most of these sites be careful how you view them (Eph 5:15-17).

Yet another issue of our day is that certain religious bodies who claim to call on the name of the LORD have concluded through the philosophies of men that such things as sodomy, lesbiamism, and people being in unscriptural marriages are nothing more than peoples individual choices of lifestyle and are even approved of God! Instating clergy who openly practice and confess such abominations! But the Bible clearly states that those who practice such things are the unrighteous and shall not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Cor 6:9-11) . . .

1 Cor 6:9  Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?  1 Cor 6:10  Be not deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexualility,  1 Cor 6:11  nor theives, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

What we continue to see is people twisting the Scriptures to their own destruction (2 Pet 3:16), conforming the forever settled (Ps 119:89), once for all time delivered gospel (Jude 3) to this ever changing sinful world, instead of being transformed through the renewing of their minds (Rom 12:2) into the likeness of God/Christ (Col 3:10), Who loved the people of the world (Jn 3:16), yet hated their sin and was exalted for it (Heb 1:9). Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil (Isa 5:20)! Do you attend bodies that promote these sorts of abominations (Alliance of Baptists, Episcopal Church, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Presbyterian Church (USA), United Church of Christ, etc.)?  Do you donate your God given monies to promote and advance such atrocities? If so then you are likewise guilty as a partaker of their evil deeds (2 Jn 11)! And will be judged guilty on That Day because you did not receive the love of the Truth in order that you might be saved (2 Thess 2:10-12)! But there is good news! One can manifest godly sorrow (2 Cor 7:10), repent of sins (Acts 17:30), believe and obey the gospel from the heart unto the forgiveness of sins (Rom 6:16-18) and the life eternal (Tit 1:2), we know the terror of the LORD (Mt 5:29-30; 25:46; Rev 21:8) therefore we attempt to persuade individuals (2 Cor 5:10-11). So what will your choice be, to believe men or God? To follow the wisdom of the world, the philosophies of men (Col 2:8) which lead to death (Pro 14:12), or the wisdom that comes from above which leads to life (Jn 6:63)? God doesnt want any to perish (2 Pet 3:9), but all to be saved (1 Tim 2:4), I encourage you to choose life (Rom 6:16; Rev 22:17), while you still have the chance (Heb 9:27; Lk 16:26).

Yet even another issue of the day (and I believe this to be "The Issue" because this extends to and is able to fix the other issues) is the forbidding by government, schools, businesses, and our society in general of expressions of the Christian Faith, in other words the forbidding by these entities for individuals to live the Christian life as depicted in the New Covenant. Many want faithful followers (imitators) of Christ to keep the practicing of their religion to their private assemblies only, and why is that? Jesus puts it this way when speaking to His unbelieving brothers in Jn 7:7 . . .

Joh 7:7 The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify about it that its works are evil.

The people in the world and of the world just do not want to hear how we have been created by Him and for Him (Col 1:16), they do not want to hear about God's unchanging standards of right and wrong (Ps 119:89;172), of how every accountable person will be judged according to God's word (Jn 12:48; Rom 2:16; Rev 20:12), and that there are only two options, eternal life or eternal punishment (Mt 25:46). But what does Jesus say? Mt 5:13-16 gives us His instruction . . .

Mat 5:13 You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.
Mat 5:14 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Mat 5:15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.
Mat 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

His teaching is simple, we are "salt and light" or we are "good for nothings." This is speaking about good works specifically, one of which would be to impart gospel truths to people we come in contact with, in word and in deed (Col 3:17). Are we going to let the world put our lights out, keep us from being salt, that some might be saved? Are we going to obey God or men? Are we trying to please God or men? The Bible is clear, plain and simple concerning this issue (Acts 4:19; 5:29; Gal 1:10; Lk 12:4-5)

Act 4:19 But Peter and John answered them, Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge,

Act 5:29 But Peter and the apostles answered, We must obey God rather than men.

Gal 1:10 For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Luk 12:4 I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do.
Luk 12:5 But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him!

But if we reject the commands of men and stay faithful to God's commands concerning this, instead of punishment we can look forward to reward, and will be numbered among those faithfully imitating the Lord (Mt 5:10-12) . . .

Mat 5:10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:11 Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
Mat 5:12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

So how do we know that this applies to us today and not only to those in the 1st century? In Matthew's account of the great commission (which is clearly perpetual), it states that whatever the Lord commanded them, is to be observed by future disciples, and that would include us, even to this day (Mt 28:18-20) . . .

Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and said to them, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Mat 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Mat 28:20 teaching them to observe (obey; NIV) all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

If you have been troubled because of your living the Christian life in word and in deed (like being harassed at, suspended from, or losing your job, etc.), here is a link to an organization that might represent you if you are unable to do so yourself.

It is time to stand up and be counted among the faithful, we are in the midst of a battle between darkness and light, Christian persecution around the world is higher now than ever, even than in the 1st century, and it wont get any better till the Lord comes. Therefore I encourage you to stand in the Lord and the strength of His might, the gospel of Jesus Christ.
